Tribbu (formerly Hoop Carpool) closed a round co-led by utility Iberdrola, through its PERSEO venture arm, and Madrid bus operator Grupo Ruiz, each putting in €1M as strategic investors; Eleva Legal, which advised the deal, put the total at €2.1M while most outlets reported it as 'more than €2 million' (Crunchbase logs it as a $2.35M seed). The money funds the B2C opening of the app, its Energy Savings Certificate (CAE) system that pays drivers ~€1 per passenger, and expansion in Portugal and Latin America; the company had publicly launched a €5M raise in December 2024, of which this is the announced close.
