Hoop

Tribbu (formerly Hoop Carpool, rebranded in September 2025) is a Madrid-based carpooling app that matches drivers and passengers on recurring daily commutes, originally sold B2B to companies, universities and municipalities (Mercadona, Santander, Mercedes-Benz, Iberostar, Schneider Electric, UNED, UPM) and opened to individual users with the rebrand. Its model monetises Spain's Energy Savings Certificates (CAEs), paying drivers roughly €1 per passenger per 25 km while passengers ride free; it reports 60,000+ users, 400,000-500,000 shared rides and operations in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Panama and Guatemala. It has raised roughly €3M+ in seed-stage rounds, most recently €2M in October 2025 led by Iberdrola and Grupo Ruiz (€1M each).
