Lumiris closed a €1.5M round, raised partly from private investors (notably photonics and assisted-reproduction professionals) and partly via the Capital Cell equity-crowdfunding platform, where a bridge campaign running 23 September to 25 October 2024 raised about €1M from 251 investors at a €17M pre-money valuation; no lead investor was disclosed. The round took total funding since the 2023 inception to €6M, a figure that also includes an earlier €1.5M from Scranton Enterprises into the IBEC research group before spin-out and roughly €3M of non-dilutive public grants (including the EU ATTRACT Phase 2 HYLIGHT project), none of which were announced as separate rounds; proceeds were earmarked for the clinical phase.
