Then trading as Bankflip (legal entity Beyond the Scope, S.L.), the company closed a €2.6M seed round led by JME Ventures with Draper B1, Demium, Enzo Ventures, Notion Capital and angels Inaki Berenguer and Fernando Cabello-Astolfi, to consolidate its position in Spain and expand into new verticals and markets starting with Portugal. Press reports noted the round was complemented by an ENISA loan and a participative loan from the Institut Catala de Finances, which are public loans rather than equity; the company said it had multiplied its business volume 14x in 2023.
