At its launch as Spain's first independent automated investment manager, Indexa Capital announced it had been backed with an initial investment of more than €1M from Spanish funds and business angels, the capital with which the company was incorporated in December 2015 after receiving CNMV authorisation in November 2015. No lead investor was stated; founders Unai Ansejo, François Derbaix and Ramón Blanco also invested.
