Basque edtech Smowltech, whose SMOWL proctoring product uses multi-biometric data to verify students continuously during online exams, raised €1.65 million co-led by impact funds Fondo Bolsa Social and Finland's Sparkmind.vc, with Telefónica's Wayra also investing. No single lead was named. Funds go to product and marketing teams and expansion in Europe and Latin America.
