Madrid cardiology AI company Idoven announced $19.8M in funding, made up of a $12.9M Series A co-led by Insight Partners and Northzone (with Wayra and angels including Iker Casillas, Diego Piacentini and Sebastian Gunningham) plus $6.9M of grant and equity funding from the European Innovation Council Accelerator. The money backs 'Willem', its hardware-agnostic algorithm for identifying, triaging and diagnosing cardiac abnormalities from ECG data at scale.
