Barter Energy is a new solar energy-community start-up with Martín Varsavsky as president and Isabel Reija as CEO. It launched with financial backing from infrastructure fund Asterion Industrial Partners, which did not disclose the amount. It builds shared photovoltaic installations that supply cheap renewable electricity to nearby homes and buildings.
