SSherpa.ai — Series A · $8.5M
Sherpa.ai added $8.5M (about €7.4M–€7.5M) of new capital to its Series A, bringing the Series A to $15M. Spanish press called it a bridge round, the largest by a Spanish company that year. Mundi Ventures increased its stake, joined by Basque fund Orza and business angels including British Airways CEO Alex Cruz. A Series B of about $20M was planned for later in 2019 but was never reported as closed.
