OOrza
Orza is a San Sebastián-based direct investment firm, founded in 2005 and owned equally by the Basque pension funds (EPSVs) Geroa and Elkarkidetza. It takes long-term minority stakes in unlisted companies in the Basque Country and Navarre. It backs expansion and internationalisation projects, MBO and MBI transactions, corporate succession and the replacement of minority shareholders, and it also backs start-ups with tickets of up to about €2M. Its portfolio of around 30 companies spans biohealth, industrial, aeronautics, space and hardware, including Biolan, Mikrobiomik, Satlantis, Alerion, Burdinberri, Siban Peosa, AJL Ophthalmic and Oroi.
