SSatlantis
Satlantis is a Spanish NewSpace company that designs and manufactures high-resolution miniaturized optical payloads and full end-to-end small-satellite solutions for Earth observation and universe exploration, built around its proprietary iSIM (integrated Standard Imager for Microsatellites) technology. Founded in 2013 as a University of Florida spin-off and headquartered in the Bilbao area (Leioa/Getxo, Basque Country), it specializes in multispectral and infrared imaging, notably very-high-precision methane and greenhouse-gas emission detection, and has flown 8+ missions with partners including NASA, ESA and JAXA. It is a deeptech/hardware scale-up that has raised roughly €24M cumulatively from a mix of corporate, public and strategic investors, acquired 51% of UK's SuperSharp in 2023, and opened a French subsidiary in Bidart in 2024.
