Pangea Propulsion
Pangea Propulsion is a Spanish-French space propulsion company that designs and manufactures high-efficiency, reusable rocket engines, best known for reviving the aerospike nozzle concept and for its 3D-printed, methalox ARCOS and DEMO-P engines. Founded in Barcelona in 2018 as Pangea Aerospace, it abandoned its Meso micro-launcher project in 2023 to specialise purely in propulsion and rebranded to Pangea Propulsion in July 2025; it raised a €23M Series A in March 2025 and leads ESA's future European high-thrust engine (EFIS) study. The company opened a 1,000 m² serial-production facility in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat in July 2026 and also operates a Toulouse office and a Lleida test site.
