Hyperion Fund is Spain's first private equity fund dedicated to growth-stage companies in defense, aerospace, cybersecurity and AI, backing dual-use technology businesses across the Atlantic Alliance with a focus on Spanish SMEs. Founded in 2023-2024 by former Spanish political leader Pablo Casado alongside defense-industry veterans, it closed its debut vehicle at its €150M target within a year and is preparing a second, defense-focused fund of up to €500M for 2026. Its international advisory board includes former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and other geopolitical/defense figures.
