BBiokemik — Seed
Biokemik was set up in May 2015 as Biosyncaucho S.L., a Tecnalia spin-off. Tecnalia put in intangible assets (patents) plus cash, and the private investment fund Kereon Partners took a stake. Tecnalia Ventures' Omega proof-of-concept fund sponsored the project. No amount was disclosed and no lead was named. Tracxn lists a 2016 EU grant of about $133K, which is left out because it is a grant. A 2018 profile said Biokemik was raising more capital from industrial partners, but no close was ever reported.
