This was the second round, an impact-investment round of €1.8M to finish the regulatory preclinical phase of CEB-01 for soft tissue sarcomas and set up a GMP pilot plant. It included two equity-crowdfunding campaigns on Capital Cell that raised €600K, one of which closed on 2016-06-15 with 126 investors, a Spanish biotech crowdfunding record at the time. Ship2B Foundation, Inveready and family offices also invested. Public funding from CDTI NEOTEC, an ENISA loan and the EU SME Instrument came alongside the round but is not equity.
