Genomcore (formerly Made of Genes) closed a crowdfunding round of more than €500,000 on Capital Cell, which it opened in October 2022, from over 200 investors. They included Carlos Gallardo (Almirall), Albert Armengol (Doctoralia), Jordi Esteve (Esteve) and existing backers Wayra, Crèdit Andorrà's Scale Lab and FCV Equity. The money is meant to prepare its move into the US and to turn its platform into low-code. Separately, it received about €1M in Next Generation EU grant funding, which is not counted here.
