Microwd's first funding round was an equity crowdfunding campaign on SociosInversores.com (now SegoVenture). The company offered 9% of its shares against a €450K target and raised €512,500 in under a month (114% of target), with a €1,500 minimum ticket. The money went to pilot projects in Peru, Guatemala, Ghana and Kenya, to marketing, and to more staff in Nicaragua.
