SSEGO Venture
SEGO Venture is the venture capital line of the Madrid-based SEGOFINANCE group, operating as a CNMV-regulated equity crowdfunding platform that lets retail and professional investors take equity stakes in high-growth technology and innovative start-ups and scale-ups. It grew out of SociosInversores, founded in 2011 by Javier Villaseca as one of Spain's first equity crowdfunding platforms, and has financed more than 160 projects with over €40M invested. Notable companies funded through the platform include PLD Space, Neurologyca, Bioo and Vytrus Biotech, and several of its investees, such as Endurance Motive, Vytrus Biotech, Energy Solar Tech, Iflex and Redegal, have gone on to list on public markets.
