Deliberry was a Barcelona-based online grocery marketplace offering one-hour delivery from supermarkets in Barcelona and Madrid. Customers ordered through its app and website; in-store personal shoppers known as "mamashoppers" picked the products at partner retailers, including Mercadona, Carrefour, Caprabo, Dia, Supercor, Casa Ametller and Veritas, and couriers delivered the orders. It was founded in 2015 by Gemma Sorigué, Camilo Defoin, Miguel Vicente and Gerard Olivé and was built within the Antai Venture Builder. Its peak annual revenue was €3.8 million. Over six capital rounds it raised about €7.2 million from Antai, ESADE BAN, IDODI Venture Capital, The Sputnik Group, The Crowd Angel and La Nevera Roja founder José del Barrio, among others, including a seed round of about $3.3 million led by The Sputnik Group in March 2016. It also had public financing from Institut Català de Finances and ENISA. The company entered insolvency proceedings in Barcelona in 2022.
