RRoadStr
RoadStr is a Madrid-based mobile social platform for car enthusiasts. Users can discover driving routes, join car meetups, trackdays and motor events, create clubs and connect with nearby drivers. The app includes more than 10,000 routes, a RoadSharing live map and Apple CarPlay integration, and it has a sister app, RocKr, for motorcyclists. It makes money through B2B partnerships with automotive and tyre brands and through exclusive offers on experiences and consumables. The company, RoadStr Enthusiast SL, launched the app in August 2018 and had passed 200,000 registered users across Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom by late 2020. In November 2020 it raised €769,000 in an oversubscribed equity crowdfunding round on SociosInversores.com.
