SSIARQ
SIARQ is a Barcelona-based greentech company that designs, manufactures and sells solar street lighting with built-in environmental sensors for public spaces. Its main product, the patented Solar Hub, is a 360° paraboloid solar light that monitors air quality, noise and UV radiation. It sends the data in real time to the company's Urban Brain IoT platform and can also host 5G small cells. It sells to municipalities, ports, airports, universities and commercial sites, and its systems are installed in Spain, elsewhere in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Named clients include Cellnex Telecom and Sant Boi de Llobregat. The company was founded in Barcelona in 2003 by Alessandro Caviasca, Axelle Vergés and Tristan Peirotes and is based at DFactory Barcelona. It has raised money through equity crowdfunding on SociosInversores.com, including a round of about €250,000 closed in October 2020 at 125% of its target, and it has received European Commission Seals of Excellence.
