Nomad Solar Energy designs, manufactures and sells mobile, plug-and-play photovoltaic generators — its flagship Nomad Energy Box packs a retractable solar array into a shipping container that can be deployed or dismantled in under three hours, with 47 kW and 107 kW units aimed at off-grid and temporary power for construction, mining, agriculture, remote camps, humanitarian and military uses. Founded in Madrid in 2023 by Laurent de Thieulloy and majority-owned by solar developer Lone Lighthouse, it raised €15M from TiLT Capital Partners (Siparex Group) in September 2024 to fund R&D and international commercial expansion. In October 2026 it opened a 15,000 m² plant in Villarrubia de Santiago (Toledo), which it bills as the world's largest factory dedicated to mobile PV generation systems.
