The European Innovation Council Fund converted the loans it had extended to Valencian healthtech Mysphera into equity in a capital increase, taking a 17.2% stake and becoming one of the company's main shareholders; the EIC had committed an initial €2.7M tranche in 2023. Existing backers Swanlaab, Sabadell Venture Capital, ALIAD and other private investors also took part; no new cash amount for the operation was disclosed.
