LuxQuanta, an ICFO deeptech spin-off building quantum key distribution (QKD) systems, won the EIC Accelerator and was awarded a €2.5 million grant to industrialise its photonic chip and scale production of its NOVA LQ system. The EIC award also carries an optional equity component of up to €15 million, and the company said the grant is complemented by matching financing to help close its ongoing investment round.
