LuxQuanta
LuxQuanta is a Barcelona-based quantum cryptography company and a spin-off of ICFO (The Institute of Photonic Sciences), founded in 2021 to commercialise Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution (CV-QKD) technology. Its flagship product, NOVA LQ, delivers quantum-safe encryption keys over standard telecom fibre and integrates into existing optical networks, targeting telcos, data centres, government and critical-infrastructure customers. In October 2025 it closed an €8M Series A led by Big Sur Ventures (with A&G as largest investor), complemented by a €2.5M EIC Accelerator grant. It is headquartered in Castelldefels/Barcelona.
