ICFO spin-off LuxQuanta closed an €8M Series A led by Big Sur Ventures to scale production and global deployment of its NOVA LQ continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CV-QKD) systems, which protect fibre networks against quantum attacks. The round is complemented by soft financing from the EIC Accelerator, following a €2.5M EIC grant awarded in March 2024.
