Clinical-stage biopharma AbilityPharma raised €7M from a European-Canadian syndicate to fully fund the international Phase 2b trial of its oral autophagy-inducing cancer drug ABTL0812 in metastatic pancreatic cancer, across 23 hospitals in Spain, the US, France and Israel. No series letter was disclosed for the round; the company had also received about €2M in non-dilutive public grants in 2023.
