Medicsen announced €5M of non-dilutive funding — not an equity round — secured through four public instruments: Innovate UK 'Smart' and 'Needle-free' grants, Spain's Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and the European Commission's EIC Accelerator. The money funds clinical studies of its needle-free drug-delivery patch and a consortium with UPV, Leitat, CSIC and Centro Jesús Usón to extend the technology beyond diabetes to obesity, osteoporosis and autoimmune disease.
