Barcelona Supercomputing Center spin-off Nearby Computing, whose NearbyOne platform orchestrates edge computing, MEC and private 5G deployments, raised a €6.5 million Series A co-led by Walter Ventures and JME Venture Capital (Walter Ventures' own release claims sole lead, but most coverage describes a co-lead). Telefónica via Wayra and Akamai Technologies came in as new investors, with existing backers Cellnex, Lenovo and Redeia following on.
