Ray Electric Motors was a Spanish manufacturer of high-performance urban electric motorcycles/scooters, best known for the Ray 7.7 (7.7 kWh battery, ~150 km range, 125 km/h top speed, 125cc-equivalent). Founded in 2019 in Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona) by Íñigo Raventós Basagoiti and Juan Luque Masó, it positioned itself as a 'kilómetro cero' brand with ~82% local suppliers, raising a ~€3M round in December 2020 from Institut Català de Finances (ICF Venture Tech II), Enisa and Catalan family offices. The company is no longer operating independently: its holding company (Win Life Electric Vehicles SL) entered insolvency and liquidation, and in July 2024 Spanish manufacturer Rieju acquired the productive unit, brand and IP, now selling the Ray 7.7 under Rieju.
