Frontity
Frontity created an open-source React framework for building fast, SEO-friendly websites on top of WordPress used as a headless CMS. Madrid-based and originally launched as Worona (2015) before pivoting to Frontity, the company was acquired by Automattic (WordPress.com's parent) in an acquihire in August 2021; the framework is no longer under active development and the founding team now works on the WordPress Interactivity API within Automattic.
