OOrbik Cybersecurity
Orbik Cybersecurity is a Basque industrial cybersecurity company spun out of the IKERLAN technology centre in early 2023, operating an ENAC-accredited lab plus a compliance platform that helps manufacturers of connected and embedded electronic products certify against regulations and standards such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act, NIS2, IEC 62443 and ETSI EN 303 645. It serves energy, industrial automation, elevators, medical devices, railway, machine-tool and IoT manufacturers, integrators and distributors. Notable facts: it became the first technology start-up to convert into a mixed cooperative within MONDRAGON (2025), closed 2025 with over €2M revenue and ~50 staff, and raised a €2M round in 2026 backed by MONDRAGON, IKERLAN and the Basque public venture arm GCRPV to fund a growth plan to 2030 (targeting ~65 staff). It is headquartered in Arrasate-Mondragón (Gipuzkoa).
