QQuantix Edge Security
Quantix Edge Security is a Spanish public-private joint venture building a semiconductor design, testing and personalization center in the Region of Murcia, focused on post-quantum-resistant secure chips. It designs custom RISC-V microcontrollers (ASICs and ASSPs) with embedded security IP, runs wafer and package-level testing in a CC EAL5+ certified environment, and performs chip-level personalization with embedded software and digital identities for automotive, IoT, medical, industrial and critical-infrastructure customers. It was created in 2024 as a JV between WISeKey (Switzerland), SEALSQ (Nasdaq: LAES), and University of Murcia spin-offs Odin Solutions and TProtege, formally incorporated on 25 September 2025 with roughly €40M of capital including a €19.6M investment from the Spanish state fund SETT under the PERTE Chip programme; it plans 130-250 high-tech jobs and a €793M regional economic impact over five years.
