SSemi Zabala
Semi Zabala is a Basque power-semiconductor company that designs, manufactures, qualifies and sells gallium nitride (GaN) HEMT devices and integrated circuits for high-reliability, high-performance power electronics, with a specific focus on radiation-hardened parts for space applications. It claims industry-leading 600V radiation-tolerant performance versus roughly 200V from competitors, and runs an end-to-end model with head offices in Donostia-San Sebastián and a production/test facility in Zubieta (Eskuzaintzeta industrial estate) opened under its 'Beyond The Power' industrial initiative. In June 2025 it closed an €8.51M financing package (≈€4.81M equity plus convertible note and bank debt) and later added corporate investment from Fagor Electrónica and MONDRAGON Ventures.
