SSentinel Vision
Sentinel Vision (legally Sentinel Concept Group, SL / Sentinelconcept, Lda) develops industrial machine vision systems for quality control and automation in manufacturing, combining cameras and hardware with its proprietary Vision Core software platform and KAI Maker AI model-training tool. Applications include 3D laser scanning, weld/bead inspection, OCR and barcode reading, bin picking and robot guidance, serving automotive, pharma, food and electronics clients such as Forvia, Continental, BorgWarner, COFICAB, Amorim and Simoldes. Founded in 2021 in Guimarães, Portugal (incubated at Set.Up Guimarães / TecPark) with ~€3M revenue in 2024, it was acquired in early 2025 by Spain's Mondragon Corporation and moved its group headquarters to Rubí (Barcelona), keeping a technical centre in Guimarães and planning a Basque Country office in 2026. It is corporate-owned rather than VC-backed.
