Worldsensing is a Barcelona-based industrial IoT company that builds wireless remote-monitoring systems — edge data loggers, LoRa-based gateways and management software — for geotechnical, geospatial and structural monitoring of critical infrastructure such as mines, dams, tunnels, bridges and rail. Founded in 2008 by four engineers after building a wireless avalanche sensor, its Loadsensing product line now runs 3,000+ monitoring networks across 70+ countries with 200,000+ connected sensors, sold through 270+ engineering partners. It raised a €6M Series D in March 2023 led by Bentley Systems (total raised roughly $46M) and was the first Spanish company to have its CEO named an Endeavor Entrepreneur.
