SafeLoc Systems is a Basque deep-tech company that designs and manufactures Ultra-Wideband (UWB) real-time location systems (RTLS) for tracking people, vehicles and assets in harsh industrial environments, with accuracy of roughly 10-30 cm even amid metal, dust and electromagnetic interference. Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of Ceit (the technology centre of the University of Navarra), its technology stems from three doctoral theses and 15+ years of applied research; it raised €2M in 2023 led by BeAble Capital and the Basque Government, and counts ArcelorMittal, ABB, Gestamp, Naturgy and Ternium among its clients. It is headquartered in San Sebastián, and Pablo Muntaner Herrero is the current CEO.
