SSiaps
Siaps (legally Siaps Visual Inspection Systems SL) is a Basque deep-tech spin-off of the LORTEK technology centre that automates industrial quality control, using 2D/3D machine vision, inductive/infrared thermography and deep-learning algorithms to detect surface and weld defects in real time on production lines. It sells turnkey hardware+software inspection modules with traceability and process-monitoring dashboards, and counts industrial customers such as Bellota Herramientas, Tubos Reunidos, Orkli and Hijos de Juan de Garay. Constituted in January 2024 out of LORTEK's 2022-2025 strategic asset-valorisation plan and backed by the Basque Government's Basque Tek Ventures venture builder, it reached the BIND 4.0 Demo Day final in 2025 and won Goieki's best new business project award (€6,000) in November 2025. It is headquartered in Ordizia (Gipuzkoa, Basque Country).
