Siaweld
Siaweld is a Basque deeptech startup spun out of the LORTEK technology centre (Ordizia, Gipuzkoa) that develops, manufactures and sells automated weld inspection and quality-control systems. Its technology combines high-precision laser profilometers, IoT sensor monitoring and AI models to detect surface and internal weld defects in real time and generate digital traceability reports for sectors such as rail, automotive, construction and steel. It is headquartered in Donostia-San Sebastián, and Edorta Sagardui is its CEO.
