RatedPower is a Madrid-based SaaS company whose cloud platform (originally pvDesign) automates and optimizes the feasibility study, analysis, design and engineering of utility-scale solar PV and battery storage plants, cutting study time from weeks to minutes. Founded in 2017 by three industrial engineers, it is used by 5,800+ solar professionals in over 160 countries and raised a $6M Series A led by Seaya Ventures in 2021. RatedPower is no longer an independent startup — it was acquired by US energy-SaaS group Enverus in September 2022 and now operates as part of Enverus Power & Renewables, and co-founder/CEO Andrea Barber has moved on to investing (BackFund).
