Centinel is a Madrid-based AI accounting startup building agents for continuous accounting control: the platform learns a company's ledger rules and exceptions into a living 'Accounting Constitution', then runs agents that match, reconcile, investigate, flag and explain transactions across procure-to-pay, AP/AR, reconciliation and month-end close, plugging into existing ERPs (NetSuite), banks and email without migration. Founded in 2025 by an Argentine-Uruguayan-Spanish team and publicly launched in January 2026, it raised a €1.2M pre-seed (announced April 2026) led by Boost Capital Partners with Lanai and Abac Nest Ventures, and claims 100+ accounting teams and enterprise clients in Spain and France (including unicorns and PE-backed companies such as Pennylane, Alma and Trison) reporting 80-90% reductions in accounting effort.
