IONLY Batteries is a Valencian manufacturer of modular, repairable and recyclable LiFePO4 lithium batteries for residential and industrial photovoltaic energy storage, designed and assembled in Spain with up to 90% European added value to avoid dependence on Asian supply chains. Founded by Alejandro Desco out of the Marina de Empresas/Lanzadera ecosystem, it launched its Ionly XYZ 5 kWh home battery in July 2025 and opened a semi-automated assembly line in Rafelbunyol, targeting up to 100 MWh of annual output. In March 2026 it closed a €1.2M round led by Angels, Juan Roig's investment vehicle, to robotise production and develop commercial/industrial 43.2 kWh systems. It is headquartered in the Valencia region (La Pobla de Farnals / Rafelbunyol).
