Sensia Solutions (brand: SENSIA) is a deeptech infrared imaging company founded in 2008 as a spin-off of the Infrared Lab (LIR) at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, based in the Leganés Technology Park in Madrid. It designs and manufactures its own MWIR/LWIR infrared photodetectors and AI-powered optronic cameras for optical gas imaging, continuous emissions and flame monitoring, and thermography, serving oil & gas, industrial sustainability, space, defence and security customers in 45+ countries. It has 100+ employees and closed a €19M round in February 2025 led by A&G Energy Transition Tech Fund together with Spain's state tech vehicle SETT, after a 2023 strategic investment from US-based Encino Environmental Services.
