Robinsun is a Madrid-based cleantech and e-commerce company that sells plug-and-play ("enchufable") solar kits and battery storage that households can install themselves in minutes, including flat and balcony dwellers without a roof, cutting electricity bills by more than 50%. Founded in 2023 by serial e-commerce entrepreneur Boris Hageney (ex-Groupon/CityDeal, Jamba, Rocket/GFC), it sells direct-to-consumer via Shopify across Spain, Portugal, France and Italy, adapting a product category already mainstream in Germany (2.5M+ installations). It closed a €600,000 seed round in January 2025 backed by the Akka investment club, ENISA, Aquisgrán, EIT Climate-KIC and business angels, with the stated goal of European expansion and profitability.
