UrbanFisio is a Spanish digital health company that provides personalized at-home physiotherapy and therapeutic massage, operating as an officially authorized healthcare centre rather than a marketplace — it directly employs its physiotherapists (roughly 90% on standard Social Security contracts). Founded in Madrid in 2016 by economist Miguel de Santiago and physiotherapist Irma Gutiérrez, it now covers Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Málaga, Alicante, Zaragoza, Valladolid and other cities, with 50+ physiotherapists and 30,000+ clients served. It has raised around €1M (announced Feb 2024) from French insurance group IMA via IMA Participations plus ENISA and individual investors, after a ~€1.2M round in 2023; both founders were named by Forbes Spain among the 100 most creative entrepreneurs in business (Sept 2020).
