Float (legal entity Float Labs Limited) is a fully remote product lab founded in 2024 by former Typeform R&D leads David Okuniev and Neil Kinnish, building design-led software with deliberately small teams. Its flagship product is Supercut, an AI-first screen recorder for teams (macOS, Windows and web) that turns recordings into shareable links and workflow steps; earlier experiments include Mixture and YapCam. Float raised a €1.6M seed round in May 2024 led by Point Nine Capital with angel backing from founders of Framer, Wunderlist/Pitch/Superlist and Typeform. It is remote-first and UK-registered.
