KKeybotic
Keybotic is a Barcelona-based robotics company that develops Keyper, an autonomous four-legged robot for inspection and maintenance in industrial facilities. Its sensors and cameras let the robot map sites in 3D, read instruments, detect gas leaks and other anomalies, and send alerts in real time. Keybotic sells to the chemical, energy, oil and gas, mining and security sectors on a Robot-as-a-Service model. Customers have included Carburos Metálicos, BASF and the Barcelona fire service. The company was founded in 2020 and went through the Lanzadera accelerator. In May 2023 it raised a €3 million seed round led by Spanish family offices from the industrial and technology sectors. In January 2026 it was acquired by the German defence technology company Helsing.
