Jolt Solutions (also known as Jolt Activated Electrodes / Jolt Electrodes) is a Barcelona-based deeptech company that produces high-performance activated electrodes using its proprietary SPARKFUZE catalytic coating process, for green hydrogen electrolysers, chlor-alkali and saltwater chlorination, water treatment and cathodic protection. It is the largest spin-off of ICIQ (Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia), founded in 2022, and opened its first GW-scale electrode factory in Barcelona in 2024. It raised a €6M Series A in June 2023 led by Climentum Capital and a €6M Series A+ announced 18 December 2025 led by CDP Venture Capital, plus a ~$10M Corfo grant in Chile; total funding is reported at over $25M.
