Genie is a Barcelona-based open-source startup behind Genie Framework, the leading full-stack web framework for the Julia programming language, plus the low-code Stipple reactive UI libraries and Genie Builder, a drag-and-drop no-code VS Code extension for building data apps. It targets data scientists, researchers and R&D/engineering teams who need to turn analysis code, ML models and simulations into shareable, production-ready web applications and dashboards. It raised a $1.2M (~€1.1M) pre-seed in October 2023 led by Speedinvest and has also received Spanish CDTI innovation funding (file SNEO-20241126); the legal entity is HPC Stipple SL and it remains a very small team (~3 people).
