Bechester is a Valladolid-based proptech that furnishes residential real estate from start to finish for build-to-rent developments, coliving and flex-living operators, student residences, tourist apartments, boutique hotels and corporate housing in Spain, France and Portugal. It handles interior design, sourcing from a network of more than 1,000 suppliers, logistics, assembly and after-sales support. Clients can buy the furniture outright as a fixed asset or rent it on a monthly subscription, and in 2025 the company set up a furniture-renting vehicle of up to €10 million with Actyus, the alternative financing manager of the Andbank group. Founded at the end of 2019 by Ignacio Posadas and Adolfo Delibes, it started out as Rentchester, a furniture subscription service for consumers. It has since completed more than 3,500 projects, furnished over 10,000 rooms in more than 40 cities, reported revenue of about €1.5 million in 2022 and signed a furniture-renting agreement with IKEA. It raised roughly €1.5 million in seed funding: a 2021 round led by Faraday Venture Partners, then a 2022 extension joined by business angels including Hugo Arévalo, Felipe Navío and Iñigo Juantegui.
